FollowCueの基本データは端末内に保存します。リンク共有・同期・外部AI・Google連携など、本人が選んだ機能では、その機能に必要な情報を外部へ送ります。送信する範囲と保存先は機能ごとに異なります。漏洩リスクを抑える設計と対策を行いますが、漏洩が起きないことを保証するものではありません。

1. 収集する情報

氏名・会社・連絡先・名刺画像・メモ・録音などを、利用者が入力・撮影して端末内で管理します。共有や連携を有効にした場合の送信先は以下の各項で説明します。Web配信や同期等の運営基盤は、IPアドレス・接続日時など通常の通信情報を処理する場合があります。

2. 名刺の読み取り（OCR）・音声

名刺の文字認識（OCR）は端末内で処理されます（iOSはApple Vision、AndroidはGoogle ML Kit）。音声の録音・文字起こしも端末内で行われます。読み取りや文字起こしのために、画像・音声・テキストを外部へ送ることはありません。（自分の名刺や顔の画像を「リンクで渡す」場合だけは第4-2項のとおり預けます。これはあなたが渡すために押したときだけです。）

3. AIによる文面の調整（任意）

お礼文を外部のAIで整えたい場合、あなた自身が文面をコピーしてAIアプリに貼り付けたときだけ、その文面が当該AIサービスに渡ります。通常の文面調整は本人のコピー操作で共有します。Premiumの調査接続やAI検証機能では、本人が接続を許可し、共有内容を確認して依頼した情報を送ります。さらに、AIに渡す前に会社名・個人名を伏せ字に置き換える機能があり、送信前に内容を確認できます。外部AIの取り扱いは各サービスのプライバシーポリシーに従います。

4. QR・プロフィールリンクの共有

自分のQRコードやプロフィールリンクで連絡先を渡すとき、共有されるデータ（名前・公開リンクなど）はリンクの「#（フラグメント）」部分に載ります。フラグメントは仕様上サーバーに送信されないため、受け取りページを含め、私たちのサーバーが内容を見ることはありません。受け取った人の端末内でのみ復号・表示されます。

4-2. 短いリンクと画像（リンクや QR で渡すとき）

自分の連絡先をリンクや QR で渡すとき、URLが長くならないよう「短いリンク」を作ることがあります。また、あなたが自分で載せた「実物の名刺の画像」「顔写真」は、リンクに直接入れると開けない大きさになるため、同じ場所に預けます。この機能では、あなたの端末の中で暗号化したデータを、私たちが借りている保管場所（Cloudflare）に置きます。

復号のための鍵は、リンクの「#（フラグメント）」の中にあります。フラグメントは仕様上サーバーに送信されないため、同期・共有の保管先に復号の鍵を保管しない設計です。読めるのは、そのリンクを受け取って開いた人の端末だけです。

預けるのは、あなたが「リンクで送る」を押したとき、「My QRを見せる」を開いたとき、または画像を自分で載せたときです。アプリを起動しただけでは作りません・預けません。設定の「リンクを短くする」をオフにすると、短いリンクも画像も一切預けず、これまでどおり長いリンク（データがすべて「#」に載る形・通信なし）だけを使います。

顔写真は、あなたが「載せる」を選んだときだけ載ります（既定はオフ）。実物の名刺・顔写真は、アプリから「外す」を押すと、預けた分も読めない形に上書きします。

会った相手の情報（相手の名刺の画像や顔写真を含みます）を受け取って表示するときも、同じ仕組みです。鍵はあなたが受け取ったリンクの中にあり、通常のHTTPリクエストには含めません。

5. バックアップ

データの控えは、利用者ご自身のクラウド（iCloud 等）や、利用者が書き出したファイルで管理します。任意の端末間同期では、端末で暗号化したコピーを同期用サーバーへ保存します。端末の紛失・初期化に備え、各自でバックアップしてください。

6. 解析・トラッキング・広告

使用していません。アクセス解析、行動トラッキング、広告SDK、サードパーティのトラッカーは一切組み込んでいません。

7. 権限（カメラ・マイク・写真）

名刺撮影・QR読み取り・音声メモ・写真の添付のためにのみ使用します。読み取り・保存・文字認識はすべて端末内で完結し、これらのために外部へ送ることはありません。あなたが自分の名刺や顔の画像を人に渡すと決めて操作したときだけ、第4-2項のとおり暗号化して預けます。

7-2. 端末のカレンダー（無料版を含む）

あなたが日程の候補を探すとき、端末のカレンダーへのアクセス許可を求めます。予定の日時から空き時間を探し、候補日の予定名と登録済みの場所を、あなたの端末内の確認画面に表示します。予定名・場所・参加者・メモを下書き本文へ自動で入れることはありません。予定の登録は、あなたが「カレンダーに追加」を押したときだけ行います。読み取った予定をFollowCueのサーバーへ送ったり保存したりしません。端末に同期済みのGoogleカレンダーを読む場合も、FollowCueがGoogleアカウントへ直接ログインすることはありません。

8. 第三者への提供

ありません（そもそも個人情報を収集していません）。

9. お子さまの利用

本アプリは13歳未満の子どもを対象としていません。

10. 改定

本ポリシーを変更する場合は、本ページを更新します。

10-2. 任意の同期・調査接続（対応版のみ）

端末間同期は、端末で暗号化したコピーをCloudflare等の同期用サーバーへ保存します。Teamの共有の合言葉ではメンバーごとの本文閲覧権限を保証できないため、2026年10月6日の修正版から個別の下書き本文・件名を共有ファイルに含めません。担当者間の下書き受け渡しは停止中で、本文は作成端末に残ります。チーム共通テンプレートは共有対象です。既に書き出した旧版の共有ファイルや受信済みのコピーは回収できません。

Premiumの外部AI調査では、確認して共有した対象・公開URL・相談内容・自社情報を調査用サーバーが処理し、許可した外部AIへ渡します。調査内容は同期用の暗号文とは異なり、サーバーと接続先AIが処理できる情報です。全連絡先・個人メモ・名刺写真・受信メールを調査へ自動共有しません。依頼・結果の有効期間と接続許可は7日間です。期限後のアクセスを拒否し、期限切れレコードはサーバー処理時に削除します。接続先AIが既に受け取った情報の保持は各サービスの条件に従います。

11. Gmail・Googleカレンダーとの連携（FollowCue Premium）

FollowCue Premium では、GmailとGoogleカレンダーを別々に連携できます。それぞれ本人が連携を選んで許可した機能だけを使います。Googleカレンダーだけを連携しても、Gmailの許可は求めず、メールを読みません。

使う権限と目的

処理する場所：Gmail・Googleカレンダーへは、あなたの端末からGoogleへ直接接続します。取得したメール・予定は端末の中で表示・処理し、FollowCueのサーバーに送ったり保存したりしません。Googleの認証情報は端末のKeychainに保存します。受信メールの分類や下書きづくりに端末内のAI（Apple の端末内モデル）を使う場合も、端末の中だけで処理します。

しないこと：Googleから受け取ったデータを、広告に使うこと、販売すること、AIモデルの学習に使うことはしません。運営者がメールや予定の内容を読むこともありません（あなたが問い合わせで内容を送って同意した場合、安全上・法令上必要な場合を除きます）。

Googleのポリシーへの準拠：Google APIから受け取った情報の利用と、他のアプリへの転送は、利用制限（Limited Use）の要件を含む Google API Services User Data Policy に従います。

連携の解除：アプリの「設定 → メール連携」または「設定 → Googleカレンダー連携」で、それぞれの機能を解除できます。両機能で同じGoogle認証を使っている場合、一方だけを解除しても、もう一方のために認証情報が端末に残ります。Google側の許可をすべて取り消す場合は、Googleアカウントの「サードパーティ製のアプリとサービス」から解除してください。Gmail・Googleカレンダーにあるメールや予定は削除されません。

11-2. 日程リンクを受け取った方のカレンダー確認

FollowCue内の「届いた日程を確認」では、本人が貼った候補文を端末内の決められた規則で読み取ります。AIや外部サービスへ文章を送りません。省略された年・終了時刻は本人の設定で補い、本人が確認した日時だけを端末カレンダーと照合します。貼った文章と読み取った既存予定は保存せず、画面を閉じると破棄します。予定名・場所は本人の確認画面だけに表示し、返信文には選んだ日時だけを入れます。コピーした文章を相手へ送る操作は本人が行います。

日程リンクはGoogleへのログインなしでも、日時を選んで返信文をコピーできます。任意でGoogleカレンダーを照合するときだけ、予定表の一覧（calendar.calendarlist.readonly）と埋まっている時間（calendar.events.freebusy）を、ブラウザーからGoogleへ直接問い合わせます。予定名の表示を選んだ場合には予定の読み取り権限（calendar.events.readonly）を追加で求めます。この権限は予定全体の参照を許可しますが、FollowCueが取得する項目は候補日の予定名・時間・空き時間判定に必要な状態だけです。予定の場所、説明、参加者は取得しません。

「自分の空き日時を提案」では、本人が指定した31日以内の期間について、選んだ予定表の埋まっている時間だけを確認します。この検索では予定名は取得しません。送り主の空き状況は確認しておらず、選んだ日時はまだ候補です。

取得した予定・予定名・認証情報は画面のメモリー内だけで扱い、端末の保存領域・FollowCueサーバー・解析ログへ保存せず、送り主にも送信しません。返信文に入るのは受け取り側が選んだ候補日時だけです。画面を閉じるか「確認を終了」、または認証の有効期限が切れると、取得情報を破棄します。Googleの通信にはGoogleのポリシーが適用されます。表示の終了はGoogle側の権限解除ではありません。解除はGoogleアカウントの接続設定で行ってください。Google API情報の利用には第11項のLimited Useの方針も適用します。

送り主が「日程調整中」に保存する候補日時・相手や用件・送信用文章・調整状況は、その端末だけに保存します。受け取り側のカレンダー情報はこの保存対象に含めません。

Privacy Policy

FollowCue stores basic app data on your device. Features you choose, including link sharing, sync, external AI and Google integration, send the information needed for that feature to its destination. Scope and storage vary by feature. Our design and safeguards aim to reduce disclosure risk; they do not guarantee that a breach cannot occur.

1. Information we collect

You enter or capture names, companies, contacts, card images, notes and recordings for local use. The sections below describe destinations when you enable sharing or integrations. Hosting and relay infrastructure may process ordinary connection information such as IP addresses and access times.

2. Card scanning (OCR) and voice

Card text recognition (OCR) runs on your device (Apple Vision on iOS, Google ML Kit on Android). Voice recording and transcription also run on-device. Nothing is sent off the device in order to read or transcribe it. (The one exception is your own card or face photo when you choose to hand it over by link — see 4-2.)

3. Optional AI polish

If you want to refine a message with an external AI, the text is sent to that AI service only when you yourself copy it and paste it into the AI app. Ordinary polish uses your copy action. Premium research connections and AI test features send the content you confirm when you authorize a connection and request processing. You can also mask company and personal names before sharing, and review the content before sending. External AI services are governed by their own privacy policies.

4. QR and profile-link sharing

When you share your contact via a QR code or profile link, the shared data (name, public links) is placed in the URL “#” fragment. By design the fragment is not sent to servers, so neither our servers nor the receiving page transmit its contents — it is decoded and shown only in the recipient’s browser.

4-2. Short links and images (when you hand over a link or QR)

When you hand over your contact by link or QR, FollowCue may create a “short link” so the URL isn’t unwieldy. And because a photo of your real business card or your face would make a link too large to open, those are kept in the same place. Only in those cases, data encrypted on your device is placed in storage we rent (Cloudflare).

The decryption key lives in the URL “#” fragment. By design the fragment is never sent to servers, so the relay is designed not to store the decryption key either — only the device that opens the link can.

Data is placed when you tap “Share link”, open “Show my QR”, or add an image yourself. Simply launching the app never creates or uploads anything. Turning off “Shorten links” in Settings means nothing — no short link, no image — is ever placed: FollowCue keeps using the long link, where all data sits in the “#” fragment and nothing is transmitted.

Your face photo is included only if you choose to add it (off by default). Removing a card or face photo in the app also overwrites what was placed, so it can no longer be decrypted.

Receiving someone else’s details — including their card or face photo — works the same way. The key lives in the link you received and never reaches our servers.

5. Backups

Backups are managed in your own cloud (e.g. iCloud) or via files you export. FollowCue has no server to hold your backups. Please back up your data to guard against loss or device reset.

6. Analytics, tracking, ads

None. No analytics, behavioral tracking, ad SDKs, or third-party trackers are included.

7. Permissions (camera, microphone, photos)

Used only for card capture, QR scanning, voice memos and attaching photos. Capture, storage and text recognition all happen on-device, and nothing is sent externally for those purposes. Only when you decide to hand your own card or face photo to someone is it encrypted and placed as described in 4-2.

7-2. Device calendar (including the free version)

When you look for suggested times, FollowCue asks for access to your device calendar. It uses event times to find open slots and shows event names and saved locations for each candidate day on your device. Event names, locations, attendees, and notes are not automatically inserted into your draft. FollowCue creates an event only when you tap “Add to calendar.” Calendar events read this way are not sent to or stored on FollowCue servers. If a Google calendar is already synced to your device, this feature uses the device calendar without signing FollowCue directly into your Google account.

8. Sharing with third parties

None (we do not collect personal data in the first place).

9. Children

This app is not directed to children under 13.

10. Changes

If this policy changes, we will update this page.

10-2. Optional sync and research (supported editions)

Optional sync stores device-encrypted copies on relay infrastructure such as Cloudflare. A shared Team passphrase cannot guarantee member-specific draft access. Starting with the October 6, 2026 fix, private draft bodies and subjects are excluded from shared Team files. Draft handoff is paused and text stays on the authoring device; shared team templates remain shared. Previously exported files and received copies cannot be recalled.

Premium external-AI research processes the targets, public URLs, request context and business information you confirm on the research server and with the AI connection you authorize. Unlike encrypted sync data, research information can be processed by those servers. Entire contact lists, private notes, card photos and received email are not automatically shared for research. Requests, results and connection grants expire after seven days. Expired access is denied and stale records are removed during server processing. Retention of content already received by an AI is governed by that service.

11. Gmail and Google Calendar (FollowCue Premium)

FollowCue Premium lets you connect Gmail and Google Calendar separately. It uses only the feature you choose to connect and authorize. Connecting Google Calendar alone does not request Gmail access or read email.

What we access and why

Where it is processed: your device connects directly to Google. Email and calendar data is displayed and processed on your device and is never sent to or stored on FollowCue servers. Google sign-in credentials are stored in your device’s Keychain. When on-device AI (Apple’s on-device model) is used to sort incoming mail or draft a reply, it runs entirely on your device.

What we never do: we do not use data received from Google for advertising, do not sell it, and do not use it to train AI models. No person at FollowCue reads your email or calendar data, except with your explicit consent (for example, content you send us in a support request), for security purposes, or to comply with the law.

Google API Services User Data Policy: FollowCue’s use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Disconnecting: you can disconnect each feature in Settings → Mail or Settings → Google Calendar. If both features share the same Google authorization, disconnecting one keeps credentials on the device for the other. To revoke all Google access, use “Third-party apps & services” in your Google Account. Disconnecting does not delete email or events in Gmail or Google Calendar.

11-2. Optional calendar checking for scheduling-link recipients

“Check received times” inside FollowCue parses text you paste using local rules, without AI or sending it to an external service. Missing years and end times are filled from your settings for your review. Only confirmed input times are checked against device calendars. Pasted text and existing calendar events are not saved and are discarded when the screen closes. Event titles and locations stay in your review screen; a reply contains only the time you choose. You copy and send the message yourself.

Recipients can choose a time and copy a reply without Google sign-in. Optional checking reads a calendar list (calendar.calendarlist.readonly) and occupied times (calendar.events.freebusy) directly from Google in the browser. Showing event titles requires additional event read permission (calendar.events.readonly). This permission covers full event details, but FollowCue requests only candidate-day titles, times and states needed for availability. It does not request locations, descriptions or attendees.

“Propose my available times” checks only occupied times in selected calendars over a recipient-chosen period of up to 31 days, without reading titles for that search. It does not check the sender’s availability; selected times remain proposals.

Calendar data and authorization information remain in page memory. They are not saved in browser storage, sent to a FollowCue server or the sender, or written to analytics logs. A reply contains only the candidate time the recipient selects. Closing the page, ending the check or token expiry clears the data. Ending the display does not revoke Google permissions; use Google Account connections to revoke them. Google communication is subject to Google’s policies. Section 11’s Limited Use commitments also apply. Sender-authored proposals and their progress are saved only on the sender’s device, without recipient calendar data.
